Romanian meteorologists issued a code yellow weather advisory forecasting rain, wind and frost in 14 counties in the western and southwestern part of the country, valid Tuesday evening through Wednesday evening.
The western and the southwestern part of the country will be affected by mixed precipitations starting Tuesday at 10 p.m. until Wednesday at midnight.
Strong wind will affect western Romania and mountain areas will see snowstorms.

Romania is also under a flood advisory along the Danube until January 11 because of increasing temperatures causing ice caps on the river to melt.
