Agricover employs commercial manager and acquisition engineers

The Agricover group, the largest provider of agricultural products, services, technical consultancy and financing for farmers and the processing industry, is recruiting employees for middle management positions and specialist, such as farm chief, commercial manager, acquisition engineer, said the company’s Human Resource (HR) Manager, Simona Podgoreanu, told Business Standard.

“I am ten times more careful about the recruitment process than before of the crisis. There are more available applicants now, but who do not meet the professional criteria. The crisis period is sometimes used to «clean» companies from employees with poor performances,” the she said.

The company currently has 21 vacancies, the lowest level in the past three years, according to the HR manager. Agricover recruited some 35 people last year. The personnel turnover halved compared to 2008, dropping six percentage points from some 15 percent, said the company official.
