Mihai Anghel, owner of Cerealcom Dolj and one of the largest farmers in Romania, with some 24,000 hectares of farming land, said he will continue to cultivate grain, even if he is aware of the fact that farming is becoming increasingly difficult, without support from the authorities and a coherent medium-term program for countering the drought.
Anghel said that these are hard times for farmers, considering that the state does not fulfill its commitments, as he indicated that he has not yet received the subsidies for last year, worth over €2 million.
