New Portal for Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (PGRFA)

A new Portal for Plant Genetic Resources for Food and Agriculture (PGRFA) has been substantially enhanced and is now available at www.globalplanofaction.org
As part of the Facilitating Mechanism for the implementation of the Global Plan of Action for the Conservation and Sustainable Utilization of PGRFA, it contains a searchable database with more than 700 Funding programmes, as well as four additional databases containing more than 3000 PGRFA projects worldwide, some 300 Institutions and Networks, information and links to more than 40 Germplasm databases and 54 Sources of information on PGRFA, most of them freely available, and a collection of Open Access Research Publication sites. New features, such as availability in three languages, a Highlights section, and a refreshed layout make the website more useful and attractive to its users.
