The production of the new TAG farm tractors made by IRUM SA company in Reghin /centre/ under Belarus license, will be started officially this month.
Agnes Gottfert, marketing manager in IRUM, said that benefiting from technology and know-how from Belarus, and also from local specialists, the new range of farm tractors TAG will meet the needs of Romanian farmers, being a robust, easy-to-use and low-maintenance piece of equipment, the same as the forestry machinery TAF made so far by IRUM.
IRUM Reghin was set up in 1953 and initially made metallic constructions. Since 1970 it has been making forestry tractors, being the only Romanian company making such products.
